Rebekah's Creating a Common Table (University of North Carolina Press) won a 2013 Gourmand Prize for the "Best Latin America Cuisine Book" published in the United States.
More recently at the Latin American Studies Association, the Southern Cone Studies Section awarded her the 2014 Social Sciences Book Prize.
