Online Exhibit of Iranian Posters written by U-M History of Art graduate student Elizabeth Rauh goes live online
The University of Chicago recently launched the permanent online exhibition, "Graphics of Revolution and War: Iranian Poster Arts." Written by U-M History of Art graduate student Elizabeth Rauh, the digital exhibit showcases posters from the 1979 Iranian Revolution and the Iran-Iraq War (1980-88). Along with the introductory essay, thematic sections, and poster descriptions, the website also provides additional commentary (including information about the provenance of the poster collection at the University of Chicago) as well as poster artists' information and further bibliographic resources.
