Brianna Kennedy, a Senior DAAS Major, Featured in Harvard Journal for African American Public Policy
Brianna Kennedy is currently studying at the University of Michigan to obtain her Baccalaureate in Athletic Training and African American Studies. For her, poetry is a space to clear her head when she is in the deep contemplations of life. Feeling like a zebra in a petting zoo, she seeks to navigate through the complexities of intersectionality to make sense for her future for herself and others. Her aspiration is to be able to create a coherent forum for young people to intentionally engage with mental health, sexual health, and issues of the heart that matter to the Black community.
