“When I was at U-M, I took a ‘while’ to find my major, but I always believed in better safe than sorry. After graduating, I found out that it was sometimes better to be sorry than safe (try things out, don't overthink). Due to my International Studies background from the greatest university in the world, I was able to study abroad in both Japan and Spain and after college, I was able to work in multicultural and international student affairs departments, even starting my own initiative. It exposed me to so many cultures, two new languages, and it was my introduction to working in diplomacy. It's an excellent field for sure! I’m also living in Asia now!”
