“My International Studies major led me to do research abroad after my senior year of college. I traveled to Ghana and conducted research on women's antenatal care satisfaction. Through the experiences I gained in Ghana, I knew I wanted to utilize technology to improve the way healthcare is delivered. For this reason, I applied to the Master of Health Informatics at U-M after my return to the United States. I will be graduating in 2018, and I hope to work both domestically and internationally. My international experiences changed my life in so many ways. It was definitely not an easy experience by any means, but I am grateful for every moment because it led me to my passion of health informatics.”
