About
Sophie graduated from the University of Arkansas in 2023 with a BA in Psychology with minors in Global Studies and Japanese. She studied abroad at Kwansei Gakuin University in Nishinomiya, Japan for 6 months and undertook social psychology research for her undergraduate thesis there. She is excited to pivot fully to Japanese Studies to focus on honing her language skills while also exploring new research opportunities that focus on factors impacting Japan's social climate and population growth.
