Teacher Resources

The International Institute, together with its centers and programs, works to advance global understanding through research, education, and engagement with the world’s diverse regions. As part of this commitment, we support educators by providing access to resources, training, and regional expertise that help integrate global perspectives into teaching and learning.

Many of these resources were developed by educators who participated in our professional development workshops, which focus on specific world regions and cross-regional global themes. If you would like to learn more about the different teacher professional development workshops, click here.

Additional resources for educators are available on the WHaLi page. If you have any questions or encounter any errors, please send a message to ii-outreach@umich.edu

These resources are organized by the National Resource Centers (NRCs) that helped develop them through the teacher workshops they offered. While some workshops explored cross-regional or global themes, the resources are grouped by the region associated with the sponsoring center to help streamline access and navigation.
