Joshua Lyon

His primary academic fields of interest have been in fields of philosophy, history, nursing and health care. As a dual degree student, he is also enrolled in a doctorate program of the nursing school as a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner with a concentration in both global health nursing, and in occupational health as a NIOSH-supported trainee in the School of Public Health. He has worked as a Registered Nurse for more then ten years before coming to U-M. In his undergraduate studies, he developed a particular fascination with the Zhuangzi and started learning performance of the pipa and guqin during his travels in China.
