Batool Makki

Batool Makki is pursuing a Master’s in International and Regional Studies with a specialization in Middle Eastern and North African studies. She graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a BA in Political Science in 2022. Batool’s academic interests are in activism in the Middle East, Middle Eastern arts and music, and Gender and Women’s rights. She is particularly interested in arts as a form of activism in the Middle East.
