Celestial Footprints: Latin American Voices in U.S. Astronomy

The Judy & Stanley Frankel Detroit Observatory is excited to host U-M Astronomy for a talk and Q&A on Hispanic and Latin American astronomers and observatories. The talk will begin at 7:00 PM and will last 1 hour in total. Afterwards, attendees will be welcome to tour the original 1854 Detroit Observatory and observe the night sky through its historic telescope.

Telescope observing is weather dependent. Registration is encouraged but walk-ins are welcome!
