Course Description:

A field-based introduction to Conservation Biology, with emphasis on regional efforts to support biodiversity. The course will review key causes and consequences of species loss, globally and locally. Students will experience conservation in practice, meeting individuals working to protect species and habitats in Michigan, and learning best practices for success.
