Artist Publishes Eco-Poem Featuring Historic UMBS Library

Dr. Madeleine Wattenberg was an artist in residence at the University of Michigan Biological Station in 2024. The award-winning poet is an assistant professor of writing at Lakeland University in Wisconsin.

ALUMNI SUCCESS: From Botany to Medicine and Back to UMBS

Robert Ayotte, a 1980 alumnus of the University of Michigan Biological Station, is the president of the Michigan Botanical Society. He is retired from his 28-year career as a physician assistant in emergency medicine and urgent care.
