- Undergraduate Research Opportunities
Many undergraduate students find that getting involved in research projects is a critical way to connect what they are learning in the classroom to real-world experiences. The Sociology Undergraduate Research Opportunities program (SURO) allows students to learn more about a specific topic in the displine as well as practice sociological methods by assisting a faculty memer or a graduate student with their ongoing research projects. Students can earn academic credit (SOC 394) for their assistance.
