To declare Psychology or BCN, a final grade must be posted in the following two prerequisite courses with at least a 2.0 GPA in the major:
- One of the following Introductory Psychology courses (with a grade of C or better):
- Psych 111: Introduction to Psychology
- A score of 4 or 5 on the AP Psychology exam will earn credit for Psych 111 and fulfill this requirement
- Psych 112: Introduction to Psychology as a Natural Science
- Psych 114: Honors Introduction to Psychology
- One of the following Introductory Statistics courses (with a grade of C- or better, or Pass/P):
- Datasci 101 (formerly Stats 206/Datasci 101): Introduction to Data Science
- Stats 250: Introduction to Statistics and Data Analysis
- Stats 280: Honors Introduction to Statistics and Data Analysis
