About
Debra received her doctorate in Political Science from the University of Michigan and currently works as a Senior Program Manager in the Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy's Center for Local, State, and Urban Policy (CLOSUP). Her primary areas of research focus on local government fiscal health and decisionmaking, and her dissertation research explored the concept of political interest and the different ways we can think about individuals' engagement in political processes.
