Professors of Political Science, Nicholas Valentino and Ted Brader were featured in a recent article, titled "Fear of a Female Presidence" in The Altantic. Their 2011 paper was quoted discussing how they found that Obama's election persuaded some whites that racism has declined, which made them more critical of affirmative action.
