A mock job talk by Margarita Huayhua.
Huayhua's presentation will examine how in everyday relationships racialization is displayed habitually and taken-for-granted in the southern Andes. Racialization can be created and re-created through intertwined signs, such as language, gestures, body positioning, and spatial distribution among other signs. The talk will explore the myriad ways of boundary making in everyday life. This event is free and open to the public.
