Puerto Rican & American Perspectives on the Cultural Turn: A Symposium on the Writing of History

Graduate students from the University of Michigan and the University of Puerto Rico have taken the initiative to orgranize the conference to build on a similar conference that was held at the University of Puerto Rico September 2007. Conference participants seek to discuss te gains made almost two years ago at the conference at the University of Puerto Rico. During the conference two years ago, groups of graduate students from both programs joined each other in discussing the challenges that the discipline of history faced (and faces) and strategies for incorporating resultant debates into reserach projects.
