Multi Ethnic Student Affairs (MESA) will bring Pultizer prize winning playwright Nilo Cruz for our Playwrights and the Public Series and MESA's Hispanic Heritage month. A presentation of "The Color of Desire" Nilo Cruz's brand new, not-yet-produced or published play - a rare opportunity! A seminar relating to Hispanic Heritage month's theme of "Cultivating the Future of Our Voices" which will include a discussion on how Cruz works with transnational identity, Cuban symbolism, etc.. in his writing. And a consultation with two local UM writers from our Emerging Playwrights Reading Series.
