Rachel Zaidan is a soon-to-be graduate from the University of Michigan, studying International Studies, Sociology, and Writing. She is a 2024 FLAS Fellow, through which she had the incredible opportunity to live and work in Amman, Jordan. She is also a 2025 recipient of the DHRC/PICS/Perseus Strategies International Human Rights Fellowship.
During her time in Ann Arbor, Rachel served as the President of Friends of Michigan Medicine, a health non-profit, and choreographed for New Movement Dance Company.
After graduation, Rachel will spend a couple of gap years pursuing work in immigration advocacy or the legal industry before attending law school.
