About
Yuting Zeng is pursuing an MA in the Master of International and Regional Studies program with a specialization in Chinese Studies. She received her BA with Distinction and magna cum laude in media and arts from Duke Kunshan University. Her research focuses on women’s literature in late imperial China, with particular interests in gender, emotion, embodiment, and kinship. She is especially interested in mother–daughter relationships and commemorative writing in the Ming and Qing periods, exploring how literary texts preserve memory, affect, and female experiences. Beyond her academic work, she is interested in connecting literary studies with contemporary art and installation practices to create new ways of engaging with historical texts and voices.
