About
Sarah Haddad earned an associate of arts in general studies from Macomb Community College before transferring to Wayne State University, where she received a bachelor's degree in political science and criminal justice. Although she initially pursued criminal justice, she discovered a stronger passion for political science and international affairs. Her primary academic interests focus on the MENA region, inspired by her experience as an Iraqi immigrant. After her family immigrated to the United States in 2008, she witnessed the challenges of navigating a new country with limited guidance. Through her studies, Sarah hopes to support immigrant communities and become the helping hand her parents never had.
