About
Rosa Razmi joins the International Institute as the administrative coordinator for the Global Projects Cluster. She graduated from the Masters in International and Regional Studies (MIRS) program in 2024 with a specialization in Middle Eastern and North African Studies.
During her time in the MIRS program, Rosa focused on the experiences of mothers and daughters within the Iranian diaspora. Her work earned her the Mahfoud Bennoune Memorial Thesis Award. Over the past two years, she has worked as a graduate student assistant at the International Institute, where she conducted recruitment events, guided incoming students, and supported current students through various social and professional programs.
Rosa’s research has explored Post-Revolutionary Iran, public activism, and maternal health. She aims to continue studying the women of the Iranian diaspora, along with issues such as citizenship, women’s rights, and migration.
