Jordan Smith is an acclaimed international performer and educator based in Ann Arbor, Detroit, and Windsor, Canada. Praised by [art]seen for “pushing past the limits of the sound barrier,” he performs regularly with the Toledo, Windsor, Saginaw Bay, and Wisconsin Chamber Orchestras. Renowned for musical sensitivity and versatility, Jordan appears as a soloist, chamber, and orchestral musician across North America. As a passionate teacher, he maintains a thriving private studio, with students earning placements in top youth ensembles and pursuing collegiate music studies. Currently, he is a Doctor of Musical Arts candidate and Graduate Student Instructor at the University of Michigan, also teaching at the University of Windsor. Jordan holds degrees from Central Michigan and Michigan, and has won national competitions.
