About
I am passionate about applying design and story-telling principles to create positive social and environmental change. I graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Arts in English, specializing in Cultural Studies, and a minor in Philosophy. Awarded the Dean’s Medal for Excellence in the Liberal Arts and Sciences, my studies are interdisciplinary ranging from semiotics, psychology, and law to logic, ethics, and geology.
I am a published author, in the Journal of Black Psychology, of Solution to Double Consciousness and the Self-Fulfilling Prophecy: The Autobiography of an Ex-Colored Man. This writing encourages compassion, equity, and educational and social justice.
My background is in art and photography, having worked for the Harn Museum of Art and the College of the Arts at the University of Florida.
I am pursuing a Master of Science at the School of Information. Human-Computer Interaction, Critical Studies of Design and Computing, and Educational Technology are my interests.
