Chengxi Yin

Chengxi Yin is pursuing an MA in the Masters in International and Regional Studies program with a specialization in Chinese Studies. She received her BA with distinction and summa cum laude in Media and Arts from Duke Kunshan University. Her research focuses on social media platforms, online censorship, digital surveillance, Chinese online fiction, and popular culture, all within the context of contemporary Chinese society. In addition to her academic work, she is also a curator, committed to creating critical and affective spaces that engage with media realism and visual culture.
