We’re excited to announce the return of Michigan Chemistry alumna Emily Wearing to the Department of Chemistry as an Assistant Professor, beginning January 2027.
The Wearing Group will combine photocatalysis and synthetic organic chemistry with modern technologies, including machine learning, DFT, and supramolecular chemistry, to overcome limitations in photochemical reactivity. Research directions will include developing new photochemical methodology, photocatalysts, and platforms for enantioselective photochemical reactions.
