Undergraduate Research Form - Department of Chemistry
This form is to be completed by a Chemistry, Chemical Science, Biochemistry, Biomolecular Science or Interdisciplinary Chemical Sciences major who is doing research outside of the Department of Chemistry and would like to receive course credit.  Contact chemundergrad@umich.edu

Participation in undergraduate research is a long-standing tradition in the Department of Chemistry, and is a great learning experience that will help to further develop your problem-solving skills, your laboratory techniques, and your communication skills.

Use the researchMatch system  to indicate your interest in undergraduate research with our faculty.  We use this information to match students with research mentors. 


Summer Undergraduate Research Program

Eligibility: UM Department of Chemistry majors with freshman, sophomore or junior status

Commitment: Minimum 10-week full time research equivalent; participation in weekly seminars, field trips, final poster sessions, and other activities of the program.
