Scott Larson

Scott Larson (he/him) is a scholar of transgender history, with a particular focus on early American culture. His current book project investigates the ways that radical religious experience in the eighteenth century Atlantic world transformed gender, sexuality, disability, and racial formations. His work has appeared in several edited volumes and in the Journal of Early American Studies and Transgender Studies Quarterly. He holds a M.A. from Yale Divinity School and a Ph.D. in American Studies from George Washington University.
