Wallenberg Executive Committee member Steven Ratner discusses US foreign policy on human rights in the Trump era.
The Michigan Daily covered Steven Ratner's role on a panel about US Foreign Policy. Steven Ratner, Bruno Simma collegiate professor of Law and Donia Human Rights Center director, reminded the Michigan community that everyone can spread awareness about U.S. foreign policy and the current direction of the U.S. administration through simple conversation.
“I think you can talk about these (issues) in your dorm rooms,” Ratner said. “I think you can talk about them in your houses. You can talk about them in your fraternities or sororities with friends who haven’t maybe thought about the issue. Maybe people aren’t really thinking about foreign policy at all, but we hope we can spark some conversations where students can learn from one another.”
