About
My name is Saad Amin and I am a senior studying biopsychology cognitive neuroscience in LSA. I plan to graduate in 2021 and pursue a career in medicine by attending medical school. I grew up in Pakistan and moved to Michigan at a young age. I love playing soccer and watching good movies. I love UROP because the community is so close with one another and there is so much support amongst the peer facilitators, mentors, mentees, and staff. My life goal is to be an interventional radiologist. I am involved with a few on campus groups such as DPSS and students for Flint. My favorite place on campus is the UGLI second floor. On my first couple days during orientation, I missed half of it thinking the union was angel hall, and to this day I love being lost on campus. I would like to leave Michigan one day and move somewhere a little more exciting. I like good conversations and relaxed people. As a side hobby, I hope to produce short films because I love good movies that have an impactful, memorable story. Overall, I am very excited to be a PF at UROP again this year and hope to make it as memorable as the last year. I also hope to elevate the experiences of incoming students looking for research.
