About
Zena is a Senior from Dearborn Heights majoing in Biopsychology, Cognition and Neuroscience and minoring in Gender and Health. She is interested in women’s health and plans on applying to medical school after graduation. During her first year at U of M, Zena had the opportunity to work in the Department of Otolaryngology on the repair and regeneration of hair cells in the inner ear cochlea. In addition to serving as a volunteer with the Safe House Domestic Violence Center and Michigan Medicine, Zena is also a member of Phi Delta Epsilon Pre-Medical Fraternity, the Lebanese Student Association, and Arab Student Ambassadors. In her free time, Zena enjoys wandering around Ann Arbor trying out new coffee shops, traveling, and spending time with friends. She is excited to meet her students and help them achieve their research goals. She is also excited to spend more time pursuing her passions.
