Vikram teaches a Health Sciences seminar for the Undergraduate Research Opportunity Program. In this role, Vikram designs and facilitates lessons on research and inquiry. Guided by his student-centered pedagogy that emphasizes interdisciplinary learning, student choice, and self-autonomy, he strives to create an engaging experience for students.
Vikram earned an undergraduate degree in Data Science with a minor in Public Policy from the University of Michigan. He went on to pursue a graduate degree from the University of Virginia, focusing on data analytics and education, specifically, curriculum and instruction. Vikram also has a wide variety of experience working with students in various teaching and advising positions. Vikram’s research interests lie at the intersection of data analytics and education policy, where he hopes to harness the power of big data to push for educational reform in and out of the classroom.
In his free time, Vikram enjoys spending time outdoors, trying new places to eat, and pursuing community- and social-impact initiatives.
