About
I joined UROP during my freshman year at the University of Michigan. My research focused on public health, specifically on women's mortality rates in relation to preeclampsia. I continued my research for the entire academic year and then went on to present my findings at the UROP end-of-year symposium and was given the Blue Ribbon Award. This inspired me to apply to the School of Public Health, where I am now pursuing a BA. Although I am no longer involved in my initial research project, my research mentor continues to be helpful, offering me great advice for my goals or paths I would like to pursue.
