About
I was admitted into the UROP program for my first year of college, from 2021-2022. I worked within clinical research in Michigan Medicine's Department of Gastroenterology, and now work as a Clinical Research Assistant within the department leading two studies. The studies I lead aim to develop a blood test for colorectal cancer so that the early detection rate can be increased within the population. This blood test will also provide under-resourced communities access to colon cancer testing that is more affordable and less invasive. I am still deeply involved in, and am so passionate about, my research regarding colon cancer. I presented at the UROP Research Symposium, and have presented at a few other medical research conventions as well.
