Hi, my name is Mashrafi Bhuiyan, but I go by my middle name, Ryaan. I'm a junior from Toledo, Ohio, studying Biology, Health, & Society and Spanish on the pre-med track. Outside of class, I love to run and lift, play soccer, and hang out with my friends and family. I also love playing chess, video games, and try out new food spots. I enjoy spending time with my friends from the Michigan Running Club and my professional fraternity, Mu Epsilon Delta. My favorite part of UROP was the structure it gave me and how much my peer facilitator helped me during my freshman year not only with finding research, but with helping me with make the most out of my Michigan experience. In the same way my peer facilitator helped me inside and outside of research, I want to help others in the same way with the insight that I have gained through 2 years in the UROP program.
