About
I've been a part of the UROP program for 3 years. I participated in traditional UROP during my freshman year in a Health Sciences section as I worked on a project examining the relationship between educational quality and its impact an individual's stroke prevalence. I then returned my sophomore year to be a part of the UROP Research Scholars Program in the same lab. I worked in the School of Kinesiology's Environment & Policy Lab under the same mentorship on a Social Determinants of Health Project evaluating the relationship between racial residential segregation and how it may impact an individual's access to healthcare facilities. I plan to publish my findings in a self-led manuscript in the next couple of years.
