About
I’m a cross-campus transfer student from LSA to UMSI, studying User Experience Design and pursuing a Mandarin Teaching Certificate through the Marsal School of Education. I’m expected to graduate in Winter 2028 and hope to head into academia, with a focus on bilingual user accessibility.
Outside of class, I’m usually behind a camera, scribbling in a journal, painting, or losing hours to Genshin Impact (TCG mode enjoyer, if you know, you know). I’ve always been drawn to the space where UX design, educational technology, and language accessibility overlap, which is a big part of why I ended up here.
Being part of UROP leading the front-end development and UX design in Dr. Omar Ahmed’s NeuropiaRSC Lab to create a neuroscience educational engine has been one of the most formative parts of my undergrad experience. It’s where I first realized how easy it can be to build genuine mentor relationships, and those relationships pushed me toward pursuing academia, helped me work through interview anxiety, and gave me confidence in a field I would’ve found a lot harder to break into on my own.
Excited to keep learning, keep making things, and keep figuring out how design can make information more accessible to everyone.
