About
I joined the UROP program in my freshmen year. Initially, I participated in UROP's residential program, the Michigan Research & Discovery Scholars (MRADS). I enjoyed my time as a participant in the program my freshmen year, then returned as a mentor in my sophomore year. I remained with my first research lab for these 2 years where I refined my skills in an adrenal cancer lab. I presented at various conferences including the National Conference for Undergraduate Research (NCUR), The MRADS Spring Symposium, and the UROP Summer Symposium. The summer of 2023, I joined a research internship in Düsseldorf, Germany studying the cardiovascular system. This past summer, I invested in a research internship with the pharmaceutical company Novartis. I was exposed to the world of Chemical Biology and worked on a proteomics project. I presented my work at an internal poster session.
