About
Hi! I'm Morgan, a junior at the University of Michigan majoring in BCN with plans to attend medical school and become an anesthesiologist. I'm passionate about improving health outcomes and expanding access to healthcare, which is what first drew me to research. Through UROP, I've had the opportunity to build research skills, work with an amazing mentor, and gain a better understanding of how research can make a real impact. One of my favorite parts of UROP has been being part of a community of students who are all excited to learn and grow together.
Outside of academics, I enjoy volunteering, exploring Ann Arbor, trying new coffee shops, and spending time with friends and family. I'm also involved in organizations that focus on community service and mentoring, and I love finding ways to support other students. As a Peer Facilitator, I'm excited to help new UROP students navigate their first year of research, answer questions, and make the experience feel less intimidating. I remember what it was like to be new, and I hope I can help others feel confident, supported, and excited as they begin their own research journey.
