Hello! My name is Meghan and I'm studying Anthropology and Creative Writing, I plan to graduate in April 2027. I'm from Bay City, MI, birthplace of Madonna, which definitely started my love for the Great Lakes. I haven't nailed down plans for after graduation yet, but hope to go to graduate school for archaeology or find a job in that field. I'm currently learning to play the guitar, slowly and painfully, and love reading. I also love a good postcard and have a nice collection hung up on my wall. I love writing, evidenced by my major, and wrote for the Michigan Daily in the past.
UROP has been a defining experience for me and has shaped my future. It's great getting to research what I'm passionate about and learn the ins and outs of the field from someone with experience! Also, presenting on that research is so rewarding!
