About
Hi! My name is Daniel, a Junior in Mechanical Engineering. My academic interests lie in the electrification and hybridization of automotive and aerospace vehicles. Beyond graduation, I hope to attend grad school to learn more about modern propulsion systems, and in industry, I hope to contribute to the development of electric ion propulsion systems for aircrafts.
Outside of class and work, you'll find me at the NCRB weight training or playing rec volleyball. If you find me in my kitchen, you see that I am a foodie and will try to learn to make anything I find interesting. I also like to hang out with my friends and roommates, playing video games, board games, or watching some tv shows, and given the chance, I love to travel and see new parts of the world.
What I enjoyed about UROP is the direct contribution students can make to benefit real world problems. I have seen peers work in renowned cancer labs and further sustainable energy generation through this program, many of which contributed valuable efforts to strive toward a better future. I believe that engineering, and STEM as a whole, serves to benefit the public and people, and research is a selfless method to do so. I hope to continue to use my experiences gathered through my undergraduate research to develop life changing technology to improve the state of our world.
