About
Hello! I am George Nunu. I am a Michigan native and live in Dearborn Heights. I am entering my junior year, and I am studying Industrial and Operations Engineering through the Engineering Global Leadership Honors program. Along with my major, I am completing the International Minor for Engineers and the Business Minor. In the coming years, I plan to study abroad and complete a Master's Degree in Industrial and Operations Engineering.
Outside of school, I enjoy exercising, hanging out with friends, watching movies, reading books, learning new things, and exploring personal finance. On campus, I am involved in the Arab Student Association, Arabesque Dance Troupe, and Orthodox Christian Fellowship.
I am passionate about the UROP program because of the impact that it created for me in my first year. Being fully supported in the process of finding a research project, doing the research, and then presenting the work was an awesome experience, and I hope to support other students in this process.
