About
My name is Claudine Waggoner and I am a senior at UM graduating in the spring. I am a philosophy and cog sci double major. I interned at a higher education consulting firm this summer and am really excited about continuing with that in the future. I love UROP because that was what initially interested me in the firm and has opened doors to new experiences that I never knew about before. I grew up in Taos, NM but went to boarding school in Massachusetts before Michigan. I love to read, travel, hang out with my friends and my adorable dog Paris. I am currently reading Dune (which is amazing) and I can’t wait for the second movie to come out. I did UROP my freshman and sophomore year and I’m really excited to be involved on the peer facilitator side. Outside of UROP I am part of a research lab with Ross and I work as a server at a restaurant downtown (wooh ORAM!). I studied abroad last semester with UM in Barcelona, Spain and got to travel a ton which was so amazing. My favorite places were Budapest, Dubrovnik, and Sorrento. That experience has definitely inspired me to want to travel more after college and I am planning an inter-railing trip with my best friend next summer (taking trains through Europe)!
