Museum Highlights Tour

Learn about some of our exciting exhibits and galleries like the Exploring Michigan gallery and Evolution: Life Through Time. Along with learning about the past, this tour will take a step into the future and explore cutting-edge research being done in the Biological Sciences Building.

Walking with Whales Tour

Sundays, 1:30 p.m.

Discover a world where prehistoric whales had four limbs and walked on land! Learn about how whales and dolphins made the transition from land back into the water as you examine specimens that were distant or direct ancestors to modern cetaceans (whales, dolphins, and porpoises).

Huron River Day Microplastics Exhibit Tour

Microplastics are in our water, our soil, and even our everyday routines. From research to everyday choices, this exhibit invites visitors to understand microplastics and leave feeling empowered to do something about the issue. Join this one-day-only tour to learn about the creation of this new exhibit, ways in which microplastics enter the Huron River, and how we can make a difference.
