Planetarium Shows

We Are Stars

12:00 p.m.

Explore the secrets of our cosmic chemistry and our explosive origins. We Are Stars details how atoms are originally forged in the nuclear furnaces at the cores of stars. It follows those atoms on their journey through time until they eventually become the atoms we find in our bodies today, connecting life on Earth to the evolution of the Universe itself.

Dynamic Earth

2:00 p.m.
The show explores the inner workings of Earth’s climate system. With visualizations based on satellite monitoring data and advanced supercomputer simulations, this cutting-edge production follows a trail of energy that flows from the Sun into the interlocking systems that shape our climate: the atmosphere, oceans, and the biosphere.
Audiences will ride along on swirling ocean and wind currents, dive into the heart of a monster hurricane, come face-to-face with sharks and gigantic whales, and fly into roiling volcanoes.

Sky Tonight

1:00 p.m. & 3:00 p.m.
A live presentation on what to find in the sky tonight and for the coming few weeks. This presentation includes how to find the cardinal directions on your own with the North Star, current and upcoming constellations, visible planets, a few deep sky objects depending on the season, and other interesting astronomical visualizations. If you want to be able to look up from your own backyard and know what to look for, this is the show for you.
