The museum has plenty of opportunities for U-M undergrads!

  • Join our docent team for flexible hours and extensive training for all backgrounds! 
  • Enroll in ALA 270 006: Strategies for Public Engagement (offered every other year) to work on real-world science communication projects with our community partners.
  • Become a museum member at a special student rate to receive discounts in the Museum Store, Darwin's Café, and the Planetarium—plus free or discounted admission to 300+ museums and science centers around the world!

 

 

Each semester, the museum puts on an event just for students that includes trivia, scavenger hunts, contests, prizes, free food and more! Take a study break and come join us.
