Transportation

 

The Department of Psychology provides vehicles to students (individually and goups) to use for getting to and from their site placements for specific Service Learning Courses: Psych 211, 306, & 325. To be eligible, sites must not be accessible by walking, MBus, or AATA bus. 

We offer:

  • Reliable Transportation - vehicles are new and well maintained
  • Incentives to Carpool - UM covers the insurance for the drivers & passengers
  • UM Covers the Cost & Support - Free fuel, maintenance, UM Campus parking, and roadside assistance

Drivers will complete 4 steps (listed below). The Transportation Canvas Course covers all the details for registering as a driver for your psychology course. Completing this course will prepare you to submit your Motor Vehichle Report (MVR) request,and to use and reserve a vehicle to get back and forth to your site.
