Victor Udoi Rateng is a Ph.D. student in the joint Political Science and Public Policy program. He received his master’s degree in Public Policy from the Ford School at the University of Michigan in 2021. Before graduate school, Udoi worked as a public affairs researcher in Kenya for a decade in the nonprofit and for-profit sectors and conducted nationally representative face-to-face household polls in several other East African countries. His research interests are democratic accountability, policy feedback, and elections in East Africa.
