Endocrine Society awards for two graduate students in Denver Lab
Yasuhiro (Yoshi) Kyono received an Outstanding Abstract Award from the Endocrine Society for his abstract titled "Thyroid hormone receptors directly regulate transcription of the de novo DNA methyltransferase Dnmt3a gene in the developing brain."
Joseph (Joe) Knoedler received a Presidential Poster Competition Award from the Endocrine Society for his poster titled "Identification of transcriptional targets of Krüppel-like factor 9 in mouse hippocampal neurons.”
Yoshi gave an oral presentation at the joint conference of the International Society of Endocrinology and the Endocrine Society (ICE/ENDO 2014) held June 20-24, 2014 in Chicago, IL. Joe presented his poster at the same conference.
Both are PhD students in the Neuroscience Graduate Program working in MCDB professor Bob Denver's laboratory.
