Gnaw-y by nature: U-M researchers discover neural circuit that rewards gnawing behavior in rodents

MCDB Associate Professor Bo Duan and School of Dentistry Assistant Professor Joshua Emrick's recent findings published in the journal Neuron reveal a previously hidden motivation for gnawing in mammals that could lead to oral health treatments in humans.
