Elaina Breznau Awarded Rackham Graduate Student Research Expense Grant
Elaina Breznau, a second year CMB student in the Miller Lab, has been awarded a Rackham Graduate Student Research Expense Grant to help defray the costs of conducting her research.
The Miller Lab studies the molecular mechanisms by which Rho small GTPases regulate cytokinesis, the final step of cell division where one cell is separated into two. Elaina's project focuses on determining how the specificity of the GTPase activating protein MgcRacGAP is regulated via phosphorylation and localization during cytokinesis.
Congratulations, Elaina!
